Question to Ponder...

OK so im going to start putting on a "Question to Ponder". Today's questions?

1. Where does wind come from?

or

2. Why is the plural of Unicorn, unicorns? Because you don't say "cornS" you say corn. Right? So unicorns, really?

Comment with what you think! (on both or just one!)

Things To Do When Your Bored

When your bored, and I mean REALLY bored, you will do almost anything. You just want something to do. Ever Googled "things to do when your bored"? I have. So I am going to make a huge list that will hopefully pull you through your boredom.

Blink wildly and then close your eyes really tight for an interesting light show
(Amusement Potential: 1-5 minutes)

Use your secret mind power
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)
Pick a passing by and try to use your mind power to command them do something

Step off a curb with eyes shut, imagine it's a cliff
(Amusement Potential: 2-5 minutes)

Watch TV, repeat everything said in Italian accent
(Amusement Potential: 5-10 minutes)

Burn things with a magnifying glass
(Amusement Potential: 5-30 minutes)
Ants are always fun to use for this, but burning the face of someone you don't like, under some circumstances, can be just as entertaining.

Have a "Who is less competitive" competition
(Amusement Potential: 1-3 minutes)
Trying to win at this will make you lose. Trying to lose makes you win which makes you lose. Not trying at all makes you lose which makes you win which makes you lose.

Pull out a hair, stick in someone's ear
(Amusement Potential: 1-5 minutes)

Don't know what to write about? People-watch at the park and make up stories about the interesting people you see.

Illustrate an entire story (maybe your autobiography!) with stick people.

Start an ongoing project — take a photo of something (yourself maybe?) everyday for a year

Whip up some chocolate banana pops

Start a vacation journal to pass around among your friends. Have each friend take the journal along on their vacation to write in and attach pics of what they did. When they get home they can pass it on to the next friend who's going on holiday.

At the bottom of escalators yell “MY SHOELACE!”
Attract lightning
Award yourself a Nobel Peace Prize
Baby oil the floor
Backstroke your way to class

Build a house out of toothpicks
Build a house with ice cubes

Say everything twice

say everything twice

Drop something to see if it breaks.
Duct tape a spoon to the wall and wait for it to fall

Laugh at things that are not funny

Ok, I think that part of the "anti- boredom" routine is looking up things to do. So, if these don't give you anything to do, here are the sites I used.

Mission: Earth

Ok so "Green" has been everywhere theses days: Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, Stores, everywhere! But for good cause right? So i thought i would post some of my own tips as well. But first, here are some links to websites where you can get involved.

If you have any other good sites, let me know!

Here are some of my tips:
  1. TURN OFF THE LIGHTS! If you aren't using them of course.
  2. Turn off all electronics you aren't using (see #1)
  3. Recycle what you can, reuse what you can't
  4. Car pull (but not with people you hate)
  5. Take canvas bags to the grochery store, instead of using plastic.
I will have different types of cart things you can make later!
